Improvements to Guilty Gear Strive’s online portals, set out in the new trailer, Story Mode, are a seamless experience without any matches

A new trailer showcasing the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive game modes has hit the internet as Arc System Works continues to give the community a new chapter of Guilty Gear action.

Arcade, Story, Training, Versus and other modes are detailed, but we were especially excited to see improvements made to the previously turbulent online lobbying system.

Developers highlight the different ways players can start exploring Strive, depending on their personal preferences. Those hoping to hone their skills and immediately prepare for competitive play can jump into practice or tutorial modes to put users directly into situations in which they will find themselves during real matches.

While there was confusion in the middle of last year during the online beta tests in the lobby in Strive, it seems like the ArcSys team worked to improve business and make the processes more enjoyable. Players can wait in practice mode to connect with an opponent, and they will match with enemies of the appropriate skill level.

ArcSys follows an interesting approach to Story Mode, as it looks like a viewing experience. While traditional fighting games of this kind almost always take breaks in storytelling to allow users to play occasional rounds (often with special conditions or pretenses), this kind of action seems to be limited to Arcade Mode.

We actually have a little more information on these modes, thanks to the text explanations that appeared on the Guilty Gear Strive website about two weeks ago, so feel free to check out the information for additional information after watching this latest trailer.

Many thanks to Kodiak for submitting it.
