Impeachment assistant says graphic accidentally fake blue check on tweet included in trial

A senior accused said the recording of a fake blue check mark on tweets presented during the Senate hearing was an accident.

The tweets commented on Jennifer Lynn Lawrence, who was tweeted by former President Trump. The two tweets on display contained blue ticks next to Lawrence’s name.

Blue checkboxes indicate that the user’s identity has been verified and also contains a certain status.

“The final graph accidentally had a blue verification mark, but its contents were completely accurate,” the assistant said.

The assistant added: “If anything, it is further proof of President Trump’s attention to and knowledge of what was openly planned by his followers on January 6, even those without Twitter verifications.”

Eric Swalwell, D-California, Lawrence, tweeted earlier this week: “I’ve never been verified on Twitter. Why did my Tweet used in the factless accusation include a verification badge?”

In an open letter, Lawrence rejects Swalwell’s implication that she is meant to bring troops to the Capitol. The California congressman criticized her claim that she would bring ‘calvary’, but allegedly mistaken it as horses or ‘riders’.

Golgotha according to the Gospels of the Bible is a place outside the walls of Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified

Swalwell mispronounced ‘calvary’ as’ cavalry ‘while reading her tweet and went on to say on 10 February:’ It was not just an old protest. President Trump has incited something historic. The cavalry is coming, and he was organized. ‘

“I do not do horses, I am from New York),” Lawrence wrote. ‘I’m not in the army either, so the word cavalry would have been pretty stupid.

“Bringing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (AKA the salvation of all) back to Washington DC was exactly why we organized three successful protests on November 14, December 12 and January 5. We believe that our holy institutions are exactly by inflating and corruption… because they have separated the State from God. ‘
