If you are taking this popular supplement, stop now because it is actually Viagra

I have written extensively about the ridiculous and disturbing tendency of ‘natural supplements for male enhancement’ to be remembered. They have the most ridiculous names and are sold by companies you have never heard of and probably can not pronounce. They are almost always imported from overseas, where drug regulations are more relaxed, and they often contain prescription drugs that can be harmful to your health. Now, to no one’s surprise, the FDA has issued another recall for two supplements that promise drug-free performance enhancements, but are actually just prescription drugs themselves.

Premium OrgaZen 7000 and Ginseng Power 5000 are distributed by a ‘company’ called NS NY Distributor Inc., and both promise improved performance for men without a prescription. As we have seen a million times before, the pills are not actually natural supplements, but contain sildenafil and / or tadalafil, which are the active ingredients in Viagra and Cialis respectively. I am completely shocked.

From the FDA’s recall warning:

NS NY Distributor Inc. voluntarily revokes all plots within the expiration of Premium Orgazen 7000 and Ginseng Power 5000 capsules to the consumer level. FDA analyzes have found that the products contain unexplained sildenafil and / or tadalafil. Sildenafil and tadalafil are known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors found in FDA-approved products for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. The presence of sildenafil and / or tadalafil in Premium OrgaZen 7000 and Ginseng Power 5000 does not make it an approved new drug for which safety and efficacy have not been established and are therefore subject to recall.

Calling the recall ‘voluntary’ is humorous because the company has no other choice. You can not sell prescription medicine over the counter just because you labeled it as a supplement. It does not work that way, but as we have seen before, these ‘companies’ really do not care. They will switch off, come up with another stupid brand and sell exactly the same pills they are now recalling, just with different packaging.

Over the years, the FDA has cracked down on dozens and dozens of these brands (which rarely contain brands and come in packaging, making them attractive to the eye when sitting on the counter of a gas station), but the problem persists. Eventually, they are still sold at retailers across the country and even online via Amazon and other stores. This is absurd, but they just keep getting away with it.

If you use these supplements because you do not want to have an awkward conversation with your doctor, you are exposing your health to danger. This is the best way to get real treatment for erectile dysfunction, and the confidence in these randomly imported pills with names like “OrgaZen” will do absolutely nothing, or if you are taking unregulated prescription medicine, it could seriously harm your body. Stay safe and get your medicine from a doctor instead of the gas station.
