While it looks more likely that a deal by Russell Wilson of the Seahawks will take place early next year, the situation seems to be evolving rapidly. Fueled by Wilson’s blunt but tactful remarks to Dan Patrick, some wonder if a trade can take place in 2021.
The levy for the Seahawks makes trading in 2021 difficult, but not impossible. Before June 1, the Seahawks would trade an acceleration of $ 39 million on Wilson. After June 1, the Seahawks would carry $ 13 million and $ 20 million in 2022 this year. With little or no off-season schedule expected for the second judging season, the wait to trade Wilson until after June 1 would not be as tedious as in a normal year.
