iBuyPower’s Revolt 3 MK3 PC case has a handle and lots of ventilation

At CES 2021, iBuyPower announced a new 18.34-liter small form factor computer case called the Revolt 3 MK3. I’m not sure what I find so poignant about it, but it’s the kind of case where I would stare at an embarrassment if I were in the market to upgrade my building. (Maybe I am, after all.) If you are a lover of minimalist cases like me, and add almost no LEDs, you may be in the case of this case as well.

Okay, I also like the top handle a lot. It’s not like I’m moving my computer around a lot, although it’s going to be a lot easier and safer to carry around when I need to deep clean it or swap the technology inside. Aside from the handle’s usefulness, it reminds me of the Nintendo GameCube – if the handle is attached to a chassis that is much more refined than it is console’s real devkit.

The Revolt 3 MK3 will come in black or white.

This coffin design is not completely original. The Lian Li TU150 is a popular small form factor option (mini ITX) for people who want a small computer with a handle on top, and it’s not like there are no solid choices that handle sans (Velocity Micro , Silverstone and Sliger, to name just a few). The Revolt 3 MK3’s large amount of ventilation gives it a unique look. Regardless of what it looks like, each side of the machine can be removed for cleaning and for easier cable management. The Revolt 3 MK3’s retractable headphone hook is also a thoughtful feature.

You can buy this case somewhere in the second quarter of the year, filled with some pre-selected components of iBuyPower, including a 700W 80 Plus Gold SFX-L power supply that only below the proposed 750W for the Nvidia RTX 3080. The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and cards below in both AMD and Nvidia’s field should be covered with this power supply for the pre-built crowd. At launch, the company did not actually share what other specifications you could have pressed.

An exploded view of the Revolt 3 MK3 shows that it is probably very good at collecting dust.

Alternatively you have the option to buy the case only in black or white (it supports interchangeable parts so you can mix white and black as you like), and you can fit an ITX motherboard inside with all the components you need want. . It can actually fit just as large as GPUs from Nvidia’s RTX 3090, so in this case you can make a powerful machine if you have the right power source. The company did not itself share a price for the case. You can find even more specifications for the case on iBuyPower’s website.
