“A donde va el amor”, “Me va a extrañar” and “La cima del cielo” are songs sung in the musical memory of women who like the romantic lyrics in Spanish, especially the ballads. There are now three well-known titles from the repertoire of the Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner resurgen bao a solo, “Tríptico al amor”, interpreted in duo by the Puerto Rican Mel and the Mexican Cristina Eustace (Objective fama, 2008).

The popular one, produced by Luis Salazar, is part of the singer’s album, “Con las que yo crecí”, being the second low in promotion. The first song “Si tú no estás”, a “modern” version of the letter popularized by the group Menudo, but was not released in the Isla debido and the launch coincided with the surgery of the pandemic.

“This song (Tríptico al amor) was engaved and read the study’s case, and said, ‘Hasta que no encuentre a alguien para hacer cancion, no voy a hacer nada'”, commented Mel de lo que antecedió a la invitación a Cristina Eustace, with whom she has a love and professional relationship in Mexico, for accompanying her. “Cristina this season differs from song”, added.

To interpret the duo marks a regression to the interpretation of pop ballads, with those initiating their artistic careers. His repertoire is based on the Mexican regional music, which is the dominant genre in his repertoire.

I always liked to sing ballads, ”he said, adding that he would present a new album with musical arrangements that, moreover, would bring a touch of the traditional music of his country.
