Elon Musk, the richest person in the world, has publicly confirmed that he has taken the orange pill.
Last week, he added ‘#Bitcoin’ to his Twitter description and tackled Bitcoin Twitter for an eruption of good vibes. Now he has publicly expressed his support for Bitcoin in the audio chat app Clubhouse. Late last night, Musk joined Andreessen Horowitz at a clubhouse led by the team to discuss all interests. He discussed the likelihood of a manned Mars mission, how his team has monkeys playing video games via Neuralink, and especially Bitcoin has given public approval.
He shared a story about how a friend made him a Bitcoin cake and in 2013 fed him a piece of it.
“I think Bitcoin is a good thing,” he said. ‘I’m a proponent of Bitcoin. I’m late for the party, but a supporter. I think Bitcoin is on the verge of gaining broad acceptance through conventional finance. ”
Asia, from his glowing words for Bitcoin, did not hold back Musk for welcoming Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev to the clubhouse company, calling him ‘Vlad The Stock Impaler’. Andreessen Horowitz is an investor in both Clubhouse and Robinhood, and it goes without saying that he wants to facilitate some redemption for Robinhood among users following the company’s recent actions in the r / wallstreetbets saga.
Eventually, many Bitcoiners saw this approval of Musk as a coup for BTC. It was also a great example of everything being recorded and scrutinized, even chats at clubhouse.
