Hyundai Motor presented this March during a virtual event on its new electric vehicle Ioniq 5 which, according to the Korean company, “establishes the reference point to redefine the style of electric mobility with sustainable and innovative features.
The new car is a mid-range CUV and is the first model of the new brand Ioniq from Hyundai dedicated to battery electric vehicles (VEB). Based on the E-GMP modular platform, specially designed for the company for this type of coach.
Derived from Hyundai’s concept 45 that was introduced in 2019, the Ioniq 5 differs from its cargo capacity. The car is 350 kW, the best model can load from 10% up to 80% in just 18 minutes, and requires only five minutes to reach 100 kilometers of autonomy, following the WLTP cycle.
