Many people expected the Patriots to follow the best agency on the market for free agencies, but few predicted that they would sign the two guys at the top of most lists.
Hunter Henry is one of the strict points and he places himself in the group that was surprised when the Patriots chased him after entering into an agreement with Jonnu Smith. Henry told reporters on Monday he did not expect to receive that call, but was looking forward to seeing what happens when the two of them get on the field together.
‘This is not kind of happened, ”Said Henry via Henry McKenna of USAToday.com. “I did not think it would happen. . . . We can complement each other in a cool way. Clearly, the Patriots are having a lot of success, and I’m just excited to add that hopefully. ”
After a gloomy attacking season in 2020, Henry will have a lot of company when it comes to excitement about what the outdoor season will mean next season in New England.
