Hulu unveils ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ premiere for season 4 (TV Roundup)

In today’s TV news round, Hulu announced the release dates for ‘Love, Victor’ and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, and Comedy Central released a promotion for the ‘South ParQ Vaccination Special’.

Hulu announced that the fourth season of “The Handmaid’s TaleWill have the premiere with three deliveries on April 28 and then releases the rest of the season weekly. The new season will consist of ten episodes and follows on from the fierce rebel leader June (Elisabeth Moss) while striking back against Gilead. As her quest for justice and revenge begins to destroy her most beloved relationships, June runs the risk of facing unexpected and dangerous new challenges. The series also plays the lead role Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, OT Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford and Sam Jaeger. Amazon Prime Video announced that Barry Jenkins‘limited range’The underground railwayPremiere on May 14. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead, the series of ten episodes follows a young woman who escapes from a plantation in Georgia in hopes of finding the rumored Underground Railroad. She is unprepared to discover that there is a real railway network with tracks and tunnels underground. The series is executive produced by Jenkins, Whitehead, Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Brad Pitt, Richard Heus, Jacqueline Hoyt and Colson Whitehead.

CNN Films announced that the short film “APOLLO 11: QuarantinePremiere on March 6 by 9 nm on CNN and flow on CNNgo. Created mainly from previously unseen 70 mm archive material from the National Archives and NASA, the film will illustrate the extraordinary measures of astronauts Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin, Neil armstrong, en Michael Collin had to take to protect the world from contamination with microorganisms or other material that the astronauts accidentally transported from the Moon. ABC a trailer for ‘Pooch perfect, ”A competition series for dog grooming presented by Rebel Wilson the premiere of March 30th. The eight-episode series features 10 of the best dog groomers in the country competing in a series of puppy-themed challenges. Each week, teams will participate in the Immunity Puppertunity Challenge, where one team will earn immunity from elimination. In the Ultimutt Challenge showdown, the remaining teams will face off in an epic grooming transformation and show off the glorious dog walk. The three judges – Lisa Vanderpump, Jorge Bendersky and Dr. Callie Harris – will have the task of voting on the incredible creations and eventually forcing one team back to the dog house each week. Nickelodeon and Hasbrosay Entertainment One (eOne) collaborated on an original animatedTransformators”Series based on the iconic global property. The action-comedy series consists of 26 half-hour episodes and follows a new kind of Transformers who must find their place and purpose among Autobots, Decepticons and the human families they adopt. The series is manufactured by Ant Ward and Nicole Dubuc, and developed and co-executed by Dale Malinowski. Manufactured by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the series was developed for television by Spinelli and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt. Production will be supervised Conrad Montgomery for Nickelodeon and Mikiel Houser for eOne.

CASTING

ABC announced that Abigail Spencer is for a recurring role in ‘Rebel, ”A series investigating the conflict facing police officers of color while their departments deal with allegations of cruelty and misconduct. Spencer plays a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon named Misha who has a painful romantic history with Nate (Keven Zegers) but could not resist getting involved in the study of the Stonemore heart valve for fear that it had accidentally damaged hundreds of patients. As mentioned above, ‘Rebel’ comes from runner-up Krista Vernoff and she concentrates on the legal advocate (played by Katey Sagal), who does not actually have a law degree.

PROGRAMMING

She has produced some of the biggest hits in the studio, such as ‘Ben 10’, ‘Adventure Time’, ‘Samurai Jack’ and ‘Craig of the Creek’.
