A new Huawei P50 Pro leak shows versions of a phone with simply the largest camera lenses we’ve ever seen on a phone. They are big. Grotesque. We can not wait to try it out.
Assuming this is true, of course, the leaks are not always accurate, and there is less guarantee that the final design of a phone will be reproduced. But this leak comes thanks to the trusted Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks, who unveiled the new design on Voice with an appropriate warning for readers to help themselves with the first pictures of the phone:
And here comes your very first look at the # HuaweiP50Pro! You are not ready … 😅 #VoiceCommunity # OnlyOnVoice @ VoiceHQex️exclusive 👉🏻 https://t.co/5zy1evnGi8 pic.twitter.com/pmys6vbjYi10 March 2021
Hemmerstoffer has no camera details to match the images, so we do not know exactly how each of these two lenses is really expected, but even to show it with an eye, it appears that both are in a camera block set is a third of the phone length on.
More details about leaks
The Hemmerstoffer leak also contains other alleged information about the P50 Pro: it has a 6.6-inch screen with slightly curved waterfall edges, a fingerprint sensor on the screen and a centered hole for the selfie camera (as opposed to the two lens oval hole in the Huawei P40 series).
Below the leak, the top and bottom of the P50 Pro are flat, just like the P30, and the supposed dimensions (159 x 73 x 8.6 mm) are barely longer and wider than the P40, but expect the camera bulge to phone will thicken. to 10.3 mm. Expect a glass top at the back and a metal frame with speakers above and below.
This leak definitely blows the doors open on the P50 Pro; what few rumors we have heard have focused on whether the phone will be the first with Huawei’s Android competitive operating system Harmony pre-installed from the factory floor. But now we’re wondering what those lenses can achieve – even phones from earlier times we remember having large cameras, such as the Nokia Lumia 1020, actually only had large camera blocks. We are eager to see more about the greatest lenses a smartphone can ever offer.
