HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G silently becomes official: 90Hz screen, 48MP camera, massive battery

For the first time in many years, HTC reported revenue growth for two consecutive months. This is a great excuse for the Taiwanese company to start the new year with a smartphone launch. A few days ago, the Desire 21 Pro 5G quietly debuted in Taiwan earlier this week, as the name suggests, the Desire 21 Pro 5G is just a mid-range smartphone, though one that is quite high. Customers in Taiwan can pick this up for about $ 430, MySmartPrice reports. Of course, the price of the phone in the US may be different, but we do not know HTC’s plans regarding the arrival of Desire 21 Pro 5G in the United States.

Specifically, HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G is pretty good for a mid-range device. The main highlight of the smartphone is probably the 48-megapixel four-camera setup, which includes an 8-megapixel ultra-large camera, and two others for depth and macro. The Desire 21 Pro 5G also has a no less impressive 16-megapixel selfie snapper on the front.

On the inside, we learned that HTC has packed a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB expandable storage. The large 6.7-inch IPS LCD full HD + screen offers support for 90Hz refresh rate, making it the first of its kind to carry the HTC brand.

Unfortunately, HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G smartphone comes with Android 10 on board. On the bright side, it does contain a huge 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.
