The latest Destiny 2 update has brought some major changes to the game, and it includes a new currency in the game called Cabal Gold. It’s pretty rare, so here’s how you can earn it in season 13.
Destiny 2’s brand new Season of the Chosen expansion is finally here and is expected to continue until May 11, 2021. The latest season has an abundance of brand new content in the game, such as strikes, weapons, vendors and more.
To unlock some of the neat features, you need to raise the new currency known as Cabal Gold. It’s incredibly rare and hard to find, but there are some ways you can obtain it yourself.
How to get Cabal Gold in Destiny 2
Cabal Gold can be used to unlock a new item called the Hammer of Proving, which allows you to unlock chests at the end of Battlegrounds games, get Umbral Engrams, and receive new upgrades.
The best way to get Cabal Gold is by completing certain activities in Destiny 2, including Crucible, Gambit, Public Events, Playlist Strikes, Nightmare Hunts, and The Blind Well. The better you play, the greater your chance of getting that payout.
Another way is to play through Dungeons and Raids, but it is currently experiencing an error that is preventing players from receiving the currency. Therefore, we recommend that you stick to the other activities for now.
If you want to improve the hammer of proof, you need to earn a total of 84 Cabal gold pieces and then transfer them to HELM, which is the central base of operations during this season. You can learn how to unlock and improve the hammer in our guide.
It is worth bearing in mind that even the successful completion of the game activities can not guarantee that you will receive any Cabal Gold pieces. It’s hard to get unless you’re very happy while playing.
