Awesome Games Done Quick returns today for an online version in 2021. If you are somehow unfamiliar, the popular charity marathon regularly has a packed schedule full of people who quickly let different video games streamed online live walk, and has historically included a personal event that people can attend. However, as the coronavirus pandemic is still going on, it will be a little different this year.
The full event starts today and should be up and running as you read it. First, a Spieëlrant run, and the day must end Pikmin 2. The full schedule for the event is available online, and as usual, there should be archives of the runs going up after the time. As usual, you can watch the full event as it takes place on the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Online closes in the early hours of Sunday 10 January after a The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time run.
As it’s a charity marathon, Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Online will support the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a non-profit U.S. organization focused on cancer prevention and early detection. All donations given to the event go directly to the foundation. Last year’s event raised more than $ 3.16 million for the nonprofit, and as always, it intends to break this number this year.
