My colleague sent me a tweet over the weekend reminding me of an iPhone feature I had long forgotten. But you may find it useful if you ever want to take a screenshot of an entire webpage to read later, or comment and send to someone.

It’s one of those weird iPhone features that’s been staring at us for over a year now, but most people seem to be unaware of it.

Here’s how to take a screenshot of an entire page on your iPhone

  • Open CNK.com’s Safari browser (it does not work in Google Chrome) and navigate to the website you want to record.
  • Take a screenshot on your iPhone. If you have a newer phone without a home button, tap the volume up and the on / off button at the same time. (If your iPhone still has a home button, tap the home button and the power button at the same time.)
  • You see a recording of the site. Now tap the “full page” option at the top.
  • Your iPhone will capture an image of the entire site. You can tap the square cutting tool at the top left to grab a specific part of it if you like. Or tap the money tool below to sign the page.
  • Tap Done.

That’s it. Now you have captured an entire website on your iPhone and can share it with other people, read it later, sign on it, or save it later.
