Hospitalizations vuelven to surpass the 500 people

Dates of Department of Health ubicaron hoy hospitalizations by COVID-19 in Puerto Rico over 500 cases, expecting to be placed in a July scenario of the past year. If an exponential increase is made in comparison with previous weeks, the figure does not exceed 150 hospitalizations.

For today, April 18, 2021, the Department of Health states that there are 509 people hospitalized in Puerto Rico by COVID-19, including 46 minor editions. In the case of minor dangers, there is a maximum of 10 hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.

Puerto Rico had about 500 hospitalizations in July 2020 and in November went to ten over 600 hospitalizations. The Association of Hospitals has issued a declaration before the end of the week asking people to sell their homes if they are not necessary to treat the levels of contact. The Society of Infectious Diseases has advised people to avoid travel, do not make family celebrations, avoid activities such as singing in enclosed spaces with air conditioning, among other recommendations.
