  • Honor introduced the Band 6 fitness tracker with a large 1.47-inch screen that competes with smartwatches.
  • You can also expect pillars, such as a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking and period tools.
  • It costs about $ 35.

How do you stand out in an overcrowded field of fitness equipment? By presenting a screen that can make your smartwatch look small. The newly independent Honor has introduced a Band 6 fitness tracker whose centerpiece is a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen – even the company’s own Watch GS Pro has a smaller screen. You do not have to look at your stats over the course of your run.

You also see a variety of activity and health features that you would expect Honor to bring to a fitness tracker. The Band 6 includes a heart rate sensor and blood oxygen monitoring. You can also follow sleep, stress levels and menstrual cycles. The device supports 10 types of workouts, six of which will be automatically detected if you forget to start an activity.

Like many fitness trackers, the Honor Band 6 is built to last with up to 14 days of “typical” use (10 days under heavier use) and swim-friendly 5ATM water resistance.

Honor did not discuss availability, other than a promise that the Band 6 would launch soon, but said it would expect a price tag of about $ 35 in the countries to which the device would be shipped. In other words, Honor’s portable should be very competitive with fitness trackers from Xiaomi and other major competitors.
