To the song “Borikén”, performed by the Puerto Rican composer Hermes Croatto, the College of Medical Cirujanos rindió hoy, martes, un emotivo tribute to the professionals of the health failure by COVID-19 in Puerto Rico.
Together with the secretary designated by Salud, Carlos Mellado, the President of the College, Víctor Ramos, explained that the homicide was carried out in relation to the event that the late President of the United States, Joe Biden, took place in the victims of this virus that, on this day, has killed more than 400,000 people in this country.
“The amber ‘ambering edition, which is the color that the president has chosen for the COVID memorial,” Ramos said before announcing the Croatian presentation.

During his interpretation, the artist was accompanied by a video expiring a six-minute duration in which the professionals of the failing health were shown causing the virus.
The sequel included Abelardo Vargas, Benjamín Rodríguez Cotto, Raúl Rubio Burgos, Milagros Santos Otero, Carlos García Goyco, Víctor de Jesús Díaz, Sara García, Nancy Báez, Dayna M. Marrero and Edith Marrero, coronavirus victims.
The event takes place in the seat of the College in Río Piedras, inside the habitation space to work the logistics of distribution of the COVID-19 vehicle.
For his part, Mellado approves the moment to thank Ramos and the College for their efforts in distribution.
“The lesser podiums we make, the more we pay homage and the power to decide that we will continue to work and wait until that homage is not met with more people who die“, expressed during his speech at the tribute.
