Home Improvement Preview, Release Date – ‘Meeting Required’

Home improvement costars Tim Allen and Richard Karn reunited on the set of Tool time in the first promotion for the History Channel’s Meeting required.

The series of ten divisions, which takes place on Tuesday 23 February at 10 / 9c, will put the best and brightest manufacturers from across the country in the spotlight as they compete head-to-head competitions to create amazing buildings – everything from a dual all-say-ice-melter / leaf blower and all-in-one-rich comfort mower, to a do-it-yourself jacuzzi and BBQ bike – that not only pushes every builder beyond their bounds, but their inner fixator and challenger inventor to build it bigger, better and more powerful. ”

As a result of the pandemic, each episode features ‘three incredible manufacturers competing from their own home stores’, while creating ‘crazy buildings with their bare hands’. Allen and Karn will “virtually pop in to make colorful comments and oversee their work during two challenging rounds.” DIY YouTuber April Wilkerson will serve as the ‘resident expert’ series and the duo’s go-to source on the ‘how and why’ of each building, breaking down the complexity and giving the audience a look at what our challengers offer is against. ” Check out a nostalgic teaser below:

Allen and Karn’s latest reunion comes almost 30 years after the premiere of ABC’s Home improvement (which began on September 17, 1991). The pair were previously reunited at Allen’s Last man standing, which was completed in the spring of nine seasons.

“They say a longtime friend is someone who responds with, ‘This is by far your worst idea ever.’ “Fortunately, it was a great idea to work with Richard,” Allen said in a statement. ‘I loved those days Tool time. We both have a great appreciation for people who can solve a problem, not by talking about it, but by doing so with creativity and amazing building skills. Plus, it gives me more time to mock his fake beard. ”

Karn added: ‘Tim has always been jealous of my facial hair – especially since it looks a little less as he grows his hair – but I would say it was one of his best ideas ever. Working with him was the highlight of this difficult year. We see a lot of things in mind, but if nothing else, this show has brought out the differences in our own personal design preferences, and if you add the creativity of our contestants, let’s just say it brings me a lot to be a part of! ”
