“Elected President Joe Biden to reverse the Trump administration’s policy on border security and illegal immigration will cause an increase in the border that we have never seen before,” said the former acting director of U.S. immigration and customs enforcement. (ICE), Thomas Homan, said Monday.
Homan has long warned of an ‘out-of-control border’ if a Democrat succeeds in ousting Trump in the November election. With the start of Biden on Wednesday and a large migrating caravan already moving to the southern border of America, the former immigration officer is becoming increasingly concerned.
“The criminal gangs have already figured out the transport routes. The caravans are already loaded and coming and there will be more to come. You will see a boom at the border that we have never seen before because of the words of Joe Biden,” Homan told Fox News host John Roberts.

More than 3,000 Honduran migrants moved into Guatemala on Friday as part of a larger caravan that left a Honduran city on its way to the US earlier in the day. Homan said Biden “knew” that his words would cause an overwhelming boom at the border, but argued that it was “more important for him to win the votes from the left and be elected president” than to protect this country. .

Biden has promised to end the migration protection protocols that keep migrants in Mexico pending their political asylum hearings. The Trump administration has said the program has ended the so-called ‘pull factors’ that bring migrants north, but critics say the policy is cruel and endangers asylum seekers.
