Hogwarts Legacy is postponed until 2022

One of the year’s biggest matches was delayed. Today, Warner Bros. announced it Hogwarts Legacy – an open-world, action role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe – will be launched next year instead of in 2021. “We’ll give the game the time it needs,” the developer said said in a tweet. No specific release date has been announced.

The game was first introduced at a PlayStation 5 event last year and takes place during the 1800s, before the events of the movies and novels. Hogwarts Legacy is developed by Avalanche Software, the team behind Disney Infinity, and overseen by Portkey Games, a new section set up to oversee interactive Harry Potter experiences.

It will come on a huge variety of platforms when it is finally launched. These include PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
