Hitman 3 and the World of Assassination trilogy begins on January 20, and at launch, Google Stadia players will be able to share access to various points in a game thanks to Stadia’s State Share feature.
With State Share in Hitman, you can share a link with an image or video from your game. Then others can click on it to try the scenario you played yourself. There are several “states” of missions you can share to customize the experience, including the starting location of a mission, the objectives, loading Agent 47, and difficulty level.
The feature works with any campaign or custom mission, and you will even be able to use weapons or items that you have not yet unlocked if a game state is before your own progress, Stadia Product Manager Catherine Hsiao said in a blog post.

The feature offers many exciting possibilities for the Hitman games. For example, players may send custom scenarios back and forth to each other, or live streamers may challenge their viewers to try out a particularly difficult mission or specific assassination style that they have just broadcast live. This is a feature that is unique to Stadia, despite the fact that the game also starts on consoles and computers.
State Share is not the only frontier-pushing technology to come Hitman 3 and the World of Assassination trilogy. On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 you can also play through all three locations Hitman games in virtual reality.
