Hilaria and Alec Baldwin welcome sixth child together – less than six months after giving birth to fifth child

Hilaria Baldwin announced on Monday that she and her husband, Alec Baldwin, have welcomed their sixth child together – less than six months after giving birth to baby number five.

Baldwin posted a photo on Instagram of her and her children – Carmen, Raphael, Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo – with the newborn baby.

“7❤️📸Alec,” she captioned the photo. The newborn would be Alec Baldwin’s seventh child, as he also has a 25-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

A week earlier, she had posted a short video cuddling a newborn, with the caption: “Gratitude.”

The Baldwins have not publicly announced that they are expecting another baby. Hilaria, a yoga instructor and actress, announced the birth of her fifth child on September 8, 2020. She earlier opened up on social media about suffer two miscarriages.

In late December, Baldwin took a breather from social media after internet peacemakers raised questions about her claims to Spanish heritage. After apologizing several times on Instagram, she took a moment from posting until February 5, and then wrote: ‘I spent the past month listening, reflecting and asking myself how I can learn and growth. My parents raised my brother and me two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a real sense that I belong to both. “

She said she could better explain her deep connection to two cultures, that she was proud of the way she grew up, and that she and her husband raise their children with the “same love and respect for both.”

“We have built our community to be vulnerable and push ourselves to learn and grow, and I hope to return to the supportive and friendly environment we have built together,” she continued. Baldwin, who has used a Spanish accent for years and emphasizes her Spanish heritage, grew up in Boston but spent time with his family in Spain.

During her posts since then, Baldwin has never mentioned a baby on the road. It is unclear whether the latest addition to the family was born or adopted via surrogate. CBS News contacted Baldwin for more information.
