HER kicked off Super Bowl LV with an exciting performance of ‘America the Beautiful’.
Sunday, before the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers began, HER delivered a version of the patriotic song with a graffiti-clad bike jacket. The outerwear has studs and white and red paint. HER layered the jacket over a black pure turtleneck sweater.
HER continued the rocker theme with two-tone flare denim. The jeans have top jewels and a starry background with a hand paint. The singer is equipped with earrings and round sunglasses, a distinctive look for the artist.

HER opted for red platform shoes on her feet. The shiny shoes have a thick block heel and a rounded toe. The look completed her Americana-inspired ensemble perfectly. HER choice of shoes is also in trend. From sneakers to boots and heels, platforms are a big style for this season with labels like Versace, Coperni, Molly Goddard and more showing off different versions of the look on their spring ’21 ‘runways. Flare jeans are also making a comeback as the fashion industry revives popular styles from the 90s and early 2000s.
After HER’s performance, Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan paint a moving version of the National Anthem. Amanda Gorman also paid tribute to front-line workers with a moving poem, followed by an exciting performance of the week during The Weeknd.
