Here’s what’s left in Destiny 2’s season of the elect

We’re past halfway through Destiny 2’s Season of the Chosen, which I think you could reason maybe Destiny 2’s best season so far, but I’ll have the debate one more day. For now, I want to focus on the remaining season based on what we do know come yet, and what we can guess may be.

The road map is getting rather sparse, but I feel that more is being planned than we are now seeing about it.

On the road map

Proof of ground strike (March 23) – This is an important addition to the game, as well as a brand new strike, and joins the popular Cosmodrome that arrived this season, but also because it is the highlight of the Caiatl storyline where we take on her champion trying to make the Cabal bend to our will. My guess is that we’ll go on strike next week as part of the Battlegrounds storyline, and then we’ll get an “okay fine you win” scene from Caiatl, which could mean the beginning of a real alliance with her .

Guardianship Games (April 20 – May 9) – Guardian Games is another month away, but we know at least a few things about it. This time you will need to commit to a class for the event, rather than playing the field with all three, and we know that the activity is a playlist with special modifiers, based on the class you are presenting. Heir Apparent is now back with a catalyst, and although ‘new’ exotic equipment is promised, it can only be exotic cosmetics. One thing I’m curious about is the segment’s closing ceremony ‘of May 7-9, which should be at the very end of the season, something we last saw. I wonder if there will be a story development during that period, and if we can end this time with a lively opportunity.

From the road map

Glycone ends? – This is one thing I’m curious about. While the dialogue of the mission is now repeating itself after three weeks, we are supposed to conduct it a few more times to complete the complete book and open all the secret rooms. I do wonder if the data path in the final room might unlock something else. A room with the Crown of Sorrow and maybe where Calus himself hides. Caiatl seems determined that he’s somewhere on the ship, and I hope that has a real solution.

Exotic hammer? – Yes, I’m going back to my personal theory that there’s a third exotic person this season, because two seem a little light on how substantial the rest of this season is, and I’m holding that we might have the Hammer of Proving as a real exotic weapon when it’s all over, the first non-sword that is not a Saladin battle ax (which was not a real piece of equipment). Again, just my theory, but I would not be surprised if there was another secret exotic next to Dead Man’s Tale before we get to the end of the season.

MORE FROM FORBESThe ‘Destiny 2’ exotic hammer theory

Crow revealed? – I maintain that we’re on our way to Crow to become the Hunter Vanguard with all his recent service to the cause, and now he’s the job to be Zavala’s bodyguard. I do not know if he will be Vanguard by the end of the season (probably not), but it seems like it’s time for everyone to find out that Crow is Uldren, and the implications out there. Who will accept him as a new person? Who will not?

Extensive Battlegrounds Quest? – I wonder if the Battlegrounds search for the strike this week will simply end or not. It is possible that there will be even more content from the Caiatl story in the last month of the season, and that the strike will be a ‘moment’, but that it is not the end. So maybe we’m going to have another weekly quest every week with story developments, I’m not sure.

That’s my mind on what’s coming anyway. I would also like to hear your own theories.
