Here’s the total vaccination, level and ICU regional capacity of each country on January 5 – Orange County Register

As of Tuesday, January 5, six of the state’s 58 provinces had vaccinated 5% or more of its population. San Diego County is the only major county in Southern California to have vaccinated more than 5%.

Here’s how many vaccinations each state has had since the week of December 28, according to the California Department of Public Health. The data also shows the percentage population for each country. The cities of Berkeley, Long Beach and Pasadena are not counted in their provincial totals.

ICU capacity regions

Regional home orders have been implemented for the four out of five regions in California, with Northern California only excluded. If a region has exceeded the threshold of less than 15% availability of ICUs, the home order takes effect.

The orders prohibit private gatherings of any size, restrict many operations and capabilities in the business and public sectors, and require 100% masking and physical distance.

These maps show the ICU capacity in each region from 8, 15, 22 and 29 December. The percentages here have been adjusted by public health officials to represent the high levels of COVID-19 patients among all ICU patients. More real beds may be available.

Level system

California has only one of its 58 orange-level provinces (considered moderate risk) and three red-level provinces (significant risk), according to the state’s four-level coronavirus detection system.

There are now 54 provinces in the press level as of Tuesday’s updates. Same number as last week.

The state no longer does a weekly update and level assignments can take place any day of the week and can take place more than once a week, officials said.

On November 24, the state had 41 provinces in purple, 11 provinces in red, four in orange, two in yellow.

Provinces are assigned a level based on statistics that show the speed and spread of the virus within their borders.

As for the Southern California region, nearly every state has had a significant increase in cases per 100,000 population and positive percentages.
