One hundred of the company’s pharmacies, including various locations in Southern California, will administer approximately 81,900 doses as of Thursday, February 11th. You can already make an appointment on 10 February.
You should be able to receive the vaccine under the state’s current deployment plan, which includes health workers and people aged 65 and over. And you need to have an appointment before you receive your dose.

Officials say more of their pharmacies will offer vaccinations once the doses increase.

Meanwhile, state health officials have discussed plans to change the current distribution system of vaccines, suggesting that the next group will be able to get vaccinated. However, the details have not yet been released.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California is still lagging behind other states in vaccine deployment.
Dr. Mark Ghaly, secretary of health and human services in California, says the state wants to change that and responds to outrage because the population with disabilities in Golden State has yet to receive the vaccine.
“We are leading our vaccine effort by focusing on protecting those who are at greatest risk and those who may suffer the worst effects of COVID,” he said. “So, those who care for people with severe chronic conditions with the disability community are starting to galvanize a policy that we will announce later.”
