Miami Heat goalkeeper Victor Oladipo was ruled out of the rest of Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after suffering a knee injury. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Oladipo suffered the apparent injury during the fourth quarter during a dunk:

The guard had 18 points, four rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes before being left with less than six minutes of a final 110-104 victory.

The Heat are being traded to Miami by the deadline, and this is Oladipo’s third team of the 2020-21 season. He started the season with the Passes before being traded to Houston as part of the James Harden deal before being redirected by the Rockets.

In his first three games with his new team, Oladipo averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 assists, though he broke out on Tuesday with 16 points against the Memphis Grizzlies. He struggled to make the same impact as he sustained a four-legged injury during the 2017-18 season, but sometimes shone two-way brilliance.

Kendrick Nunn is likely to see an increase in playing time with him outside the series.
