In a release Friday, the Allegheny County Department of Health said the clinic will open Tuesday in the Castle Shannon Fire Department Banquet Hall on Library Road. Officials stress that no registration on the premises or appointments are allowed.
“Any person who arrives at the site without an appointment, or who is not 65 years and older, will be turned away,” the Allegheny County Department of Health said in a statement.

People 65 and older can register online for an appointment starting Saturday at 9 p.m. Telephone registration is available from Tuesday at 09:00 by calling 2-1-1.
“Links at that time will be published on the COVID-19 vaccination website against the health department and sent by Allegheny Alerts,” reads the release on online registration.
“Phone appointments are intended for those who do not have access to a computer or the Internet, or who struggle to navigate through the online registration system and will be reserved for callers who meet the criteria,” the publication said.
