Warner Bros. Pictures is shaking up the theater series model this year by releasing their entire film page simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max. Wonder Woman 1984 was the first to try out this strategy, but the studio wanted to take it much further through films such as Godzilla teen Kong, Mortal Kombat, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The suicide team, and more to the streaming service. Now a new HBO Max sisrol is teasing all the premiere on the same day presented during 2021.
HBO Max Sizzle Reel Premiere On Same Day
In this sizzle line you will find footage (or at least a title treatment) from all the movies below, some of which are seen for the first time. We linked to the complete trailers for all the movies, if possible, and for all the other movies, we led you to articles with information about the titles.
Interestingly, the final title card we see simply says Matrix, which may imply that the movie gets rid of “the” and follows the simple reload title approach without adding a number or subtitle afterwards. There is also the possibility that the final title has not yet been determined and that it is just a placeholder. As the film arrives soon 22 December 2021, they have time to figure it out.
If all these films in the footsteps of Wonder Woman 1984, then these titles will be available on HBO Max for 30 days, and then the movie will play in theaters until the traditional theater window is open before the movie goes to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. On the one hand, it would be nice to see some of these movies at home while it is not the safest option to go to cinemas. But hopefully we will be able to go to the theaters in the last half of 2021 without worrying too much.
