Needless to say, the video has already been a hit among Styles’ fans and has garnered nearly 4 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours. Even Styles’ famous friend Lizzo looked forward to the video falling. While commenting on Instagram, “I WAIT THIS 1 !!!”
Although Styles did not say much more about his latest version, Gucci confirmed that both actors have attracted the designers of the video, which is not surprising since it has long been linked to the brand.
Paul Roberts, the choreographer of the video, expressed his gratitude to the entire team after his debut. “01.01.21 WHAT A MOOD,” Roberts wrote on Instagram. “I’m honestly very grateful for this creation and it’s a process, but above all I’m grateful for these men. [sic] loyalty, friendship and continued faith in me. To the most amazing (in all respects) #pheobewallerbridge who gave it all – you bring the best snacks to the table. Thanks to my wingman Stevie Jazz @jaredhageman You are absolutely brilliant! To the big boys @ fulwell73productions @ gabeturner73 @ bigboturner who are [sic] passion and artistry were the driving force for this song and dance film. As for the overall visual, perhaps Derek Blasberg puts it best in an Instagram comment: “2021 already looks good to me.”
