The Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy has been postponed to 2021, and will now want to release in 2022 at some point.
You can see the delay in Hogwarts Legacy’s official Twitter account just below. The statement comes from the official Portkey Games Label, which was founded under Warner Brothers to help blow the Harry Potter game franchise under the publisher.

Previously, Hogwarts Legacy would be launched at some point later this year. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic is underway worldwide, it is not hard to imagine how the pandemic drastically affected the development of games from different publishers and developers in various regions.
So far, we have had very little information about the upcoming Warner Bros. game. and Portkey Games. The game was first unveiled in 2020 last year, but since then there has been virtual radio silence from publisher and developer, other than the announcement of the 2021 release window.
Aside from the launch date, we know that Hogwarts Legacy will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and that it will be an RPG during the 1800s. So, before the events of the books and novels, and you can find out more about this in our Big in 2021 feature on this.
In addition, Bloomberg Reporter Jason Schreier tweeted that the 2021 delay in Hogwarts Legacy is the first of “many, many, 2021 game delays to come. ‘We have to order ourselves to push back more of the upcoming series of matches for this year due to complications with the ongoing pandemic.
