Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been quietly dealing with an intruder who violated their holiday in Montecito, California, legalizing their intense concern over the lack of security after their Megxit move to the states.
According to TMZ, police confirmed that a 37-year-old man named Nickolas Brooks was caught on Christmas Eve for trespassing on the lush yard where the duke, duchess and their baby son, Archie, live.
Fortunately, he was spotted and escorted from the property, but only warned by the sheriff’s officers in Santa Barbara County not to return.
Two days later, the hard-headed perp did just that and led to his arrest. Brooks is currently facing one offense of misconduct.
In August, Harry and Meghan bought the house in Santa Barbara for $ 14.5 million in the prestigious Montecito neighborhood. The couple made the move after their stay in Vancouver at the start of the pandemic, when they were released to the public and deprived of safety.
“Suddenly it dawned on me, ‘Wait, the borders can be closed. The world knows where we are. It’s not safe, it’s not safe, we should probably get out of here, ” Harry, 36, recalled Oprah Winfrey during the couple’s bombing on Sunday.
Before the couple got their own place, they hung out with Tyler Perry in his $ 18 million Beverly Hills mansion, where he also gave a safety note to the family of three.
Harry also revealed during the couple with Winfrey that his inheritance from mother, Princess Diana, supports his family after he was cut off financially by the royals.
