South by Suidwes is currently (virtually) underway, and amid all the premieres of the film – stay tuned for io9 for upcoming reviews – this news has come: a horror short during quarantine has just been picked up by director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Hardcore Harry) to get the feature film treatment.
This news is coming from deadline; the short, Do not peek, use Animal Crossing as well as the well-known horror that things get very scary when it happens while you are alone in the dark. Creator Julian Terry made the short version last year, and it’s still available to watch on YouTube, now to his SXSW bow. Feast your eyes!
SXSW continues until March 20th.
