Democrats’ pressure to condemn former President Trump in the Senate is dead with his arrival, Sean Hannity said Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, the Senate voted 55-45 to end the debate on Sen. Paul Rand’s point of order, arguing that the indictment is unconstitutional now that Trump is out of office. Most Republican senators found an accusation after the presidency unconstitutional, but the “irrational psychotic rage” on the left is still fueling Democrats’ efforts, host Hannity said.
“This latest Democratic accusation ‘Schiff-show’ is now officially dead in the water. It’s over,” the host claims. “The Senate trial is scheduled to take place, but the Democrats did not have nearly the two-thirds majority that would be needed to convict.”

Hannity said he was confident that “Donald Trump will be acquitted, and what we will see is another huge waste of time with a predetermined outcome.”
The proceedings will continue, but the accusation will be exposed as nothing more than a show trial predicted. [the] ‘irrational psychotic anger of the radical left and the cowardly Democrats in utter fear and panic to stand against their base,’ Hannity said.

“They need to calm down this crazy fringe that governs the entire Democratic Party institution,” he went on to add, adding, “the US Senate cannot ratify this insane accusation.
