Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday asked President Biden to call former President Donald Trump and thank him for everything he did to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Following Biden’s speech to the country commemorating the government’s response to the pandemic, the “Hannity” host accused the president of “wanting to take credit for everything Donald Trump did on COVID-19.”
Hannity noted that when Biden took office, three vaccines were developed due to the work of Operation Warp Speed under Trump’s supervision.
“A million vaccines have been administered into the arms of people every day when Biden was sworn in, 36 million doses have already been distributed,” he continued.
COMMANDMENTS SHOOT AT TRUMP ABOUT HANDLING COVID
Despite the Trump administration’s efforts to fight the virus, Biden made no mention of the achievements of his predecessor on Thursday night.
“There you have it,” Hannity said, “Joe Biden, unit president he is, taking credit for someone else’s work.”
“Joe, you want unity? Why do you not just thank Donald Trump? You want us all to get along, you say. No Trump, no vaccine, Joe. Stop trying to take credit for something, to be honest. “You had nothing to do with anything.”
Hannity credited the president for staying awake at his reported bedtime, but warned: ‘Biden’s ability to stay bright for 20 minutes tonight should be no reason to celebrate … Biden’s government knows that Joe biden’s greatest liability Biden himself. ‘
