Officials do NOT believe that the COVID-19 vaccine played a role Hank Aaron‘s death following a preliminary investigation – according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The 86-year-old MLB legend and his wife received the first of two vaccine doses at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta on Jan. 4. Hank passed away just a few weeks later on January 22nd.

Some worried that the vaccine could be a factor the slugger’s death – but tell a representative for the FCME TMZ Sport it appears that Hank died of natural causes unrelated to the COVID shot.
As we reported earlier, Hank – along with other prominent black leaders – decided to get the shot in front of the media in hopes of showing others in the community that the vaccine is safe.
One of the people who was vaccinated with Aaron is Ambassador Andrew Young – who told KSDK in Atlanta the MLB legend “never had a reaction” to the shot before his death.
“I talked to the guy who was his manager,” Young told KSDK … “And I said, ‘Has Hank felt any discomfort or a problem in the last few days?’ And he said, Nay.
We are told that Aaron’s primary care physician will eventually list the cause of death on Hank’s death certificate – but so far no evidence has been shown to link the COVID vaccine.
Aaron – one of the greatest baseball players of all time – spoke about the vaccine in the days after the shot … and told AP: ‘[It] makes me feel great. I’m not worried about that at all. ‘
“I feel quite proud of myself for doing something like this … It’s just a little thing that can help millions of people in this country.”
Hank Aaron’s life is celebrated by some of the most famous and powerful people on earth – including President Biden, President Barack Obama, Magic Johnson, Mike Trout, Barry Bonds and more.
Every time Henry Aaron rounded out the base, he not only set a record, but he helped us chase a better version of ourselves – and melt away the ice of generosity to show that we as a nation can be better. He was an American hero. God bless, Henry “Hank” Aaron.
