Police in Jacksonville, Texas, said officers tried to stop a man in a stolen vehicle on Wednesday when he took off on foot, according to a report on the department’s Facebook page.

The suspect chased the Chick-fil-A parking lot with officers.

An surveillance video of the incident shows the customer opening the door of his truck a moment before the suspect runs there.

The suspect ran right in the door and it looks like he lost his balance and ended up in another vehicle in the queue when he was caught by the tow officer.

“The suspect was quickly apprehended after the ‘HANGRY’ (but helpful) citizen reminded the suspect why you should never run away from the police,” the department wrote in its post.

An officer stopped to help what he thought was a motorcycle. Instead, he helped give birth to a baby

They did not say what charges the suspect faces, if any.

The customer was not identified, but several commenters on the post suggested that he earns free Chick-fil-A for his service.
