The UK regulator of medicines has identified 30 cases of thrombosis and problems with coagulation that are unrelated to the vaccine for the coronavirus developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford.
The Regulatory Agency for Medicines and Sanitary Products reports that the risk associated with this common coagulum is “very small” and that the population must continue to receive the vaccine when taking the opportunity.
The cases are related to the period up to March 24, during which 18.1 million doses of the vaccine are administered, the regulator explained the fires at night. There are no similar reports from Pfizer-BioNTech in agregó.
