A celebrity car theft insider has bad news about the release date of GTA 6, which is rumored to be in development for the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. According to Yan2295, GTA 6 is in development, but “it’s not coming soon.” As a result of this disappointing news, the insider notes that he does not know when it will be announced, or even released, which apparently drives the point that it is still at least a few years away, if not more.
The Rockstar Games insider shared the update on Twitter today and unfortunately did not reinforce it with further details. Of course, this is not the first time we hear it GTA 6 is in development, but there have been rumors and leaks suggesting that the release date is closer than some think, and that may be the case, but according to Yan2295, the game is not coming anytime soon.
Unfortunately, ‘not soon’ is very vague and rather subjective. This may indicate that the game is still a few years away, but it may also indicate that it is more than a few years away. Either way, this is not the news car theft fans wanted to hear.
