Gov. Baker: More than 2 million people are now fully vaccinated in Massachusetts

The effort to achieve herd immunity in Massachusetts reached a new milestone on Saturday, as more than 2 million residents were completely vaccinated against COVID-19.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker made the announcement in a tweet, pointing out that admission to vaccines will extend Monday to anyone over the age of 16 in the state.

‘Massachusetts has successfully vaccinated people throughout our distribution period and as of today, more than 2 million people have been completely vaccinated. “On Monday, everyone aged 16 or over is eligible, and we look forward to continuing with the vaccination of our residents.” the tweet read.
