The trailer for admireis very much expected Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings appeared last night (19/04) and fans could not help but share their excitement, not only for the superhero movie in Asia, but also for the soundtrack.
After the release of the official preview of the film, many fans noticed it Jackson Wang‘s voice sings in the background. 88styg also later hinted at the news via Instagram.
While neither Jackson nor Marvel have confirmed the news yet, the GOT7 member is the first K-pop act to appear on a Marvel soundtrack. The ‘let me love you’ act was also recently announced to play Hou 他 ， 爱 她 ， 爱 ta (Love Him, Love her, Love Ta), a short film for the 13th Shanghai Biennale.
Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings follows the story of Shang-Chi (played by Simu Liu) who was inducted into the clandestine Ten Rings organization.
It serves as Marvel’s first Asian superhero movie and will be released in September 2021.
