Gordon Ramsay looks forward to ‘seeing my fierce neighbors in Cornwall’ when lockout 3 ends

Gordon Ramsay swaddled his neighbors in Cornwall with a thin veil after he became very famous.

Several residents have complained this past spring about his family spending Lockdown 1 at their home on the coast; and the TV chef (54) mocked them in a recent interview.

Asked what he’s most looking forward to when slot 3 finally ends, Gordon says, ‘To come back to see my fierce neighbors in Cornwall.’

He also joked, ‘And guess what? I invited Joe Biden for breakfast. Wait until you see who I get for breakfast. Big Joe! You know he’s coming down for the G7! ‘

The new president will attend the G7 rally in the Carbis Bay beach resort near St Ives this year, and Gordon added that his neighbors are ‘going crazy’.

Gordon angered locals after he moved to his second home in Cornwall during the coronavirus crisis, despite the government urging the British not to travel.

The star – who has since returned to London – has been seen a number of times where he made long excursions when the excursions were still limited to an hour a day, including a walk along the beach with his entire family.

At the time, the fiery chef was accompanied by wife Tana (46) and three of their five children – Jack (21), Matilda (18) and Oscar (one) – during a brisk walk across the sand.

The Hell’s Kitchen star also landed in hot water with the local coastguard, who allegedly issued an official warning to him about his apparent violation of the closure guidelines.

Sources indicated that Gordon was seen in Rock, Fowey, Port Isaac and Newquay – a short distance from his £ 4 million home in Trebetherick.

While people with second homes are not allowed to travel back and forth during lockdown, it was not against official advice to choose one home and spend time there.

A friend of the family told MailOnline: ‘The family sees Cornwall as their family home when the children return from uni and Gordon from the filming around the world, this is where they spend all their family time together.

He also joked, 'And guess what? I invited Joe Biden for breakfast. Wait until you see who I'm coming to for breakfast. Big Joe! You know he's coming down for the G7! ' [Biden is pictured]

‘They’ve been spending ten years there and Jack actually lives in the house full time. Most of their neighbors are so welcome and they like being part of the community.

“The campaign against them is hurtful and unnecessary at a time when we must all stand together and support each other.”

Gordon also said in his recent interview that he can change a cloth with his eyes closed after spending so much time at home.

He said his youngest son Oscar became his ‘best friend’ during the lock-up, and he exchanged a total of 150 diapers.

“The chances of spending that time with your family are unprecedented,” he said. ‘So we were very happy that we were all seven together.

‘The only thing we miss now is Jack, he’s a Royal Marine, active, and so on, you’re dependent on the Zoom calls. But it is much more difficult for the 18 to 25 year olds because they can not see a way out like you as an adult and parent, and therefore the connection is extraordinary again.

‘And on top of that is the quality time. I must have gone through about 150 diapers with Oscar. I can literally swap a cloth with my eyes closed and he became my best friend.

‘And how fitting it is that my first best friend is now a Royal Marine commando and that I have a new best friend in Oscar.

“I think he should have a buzzcut. I suggest we go number two on top and shave it to number two on the sides.”

‘It’s very rare that you get the chance to not only present your own show, but also be part of the creative team. And that was the thing that got me out of bed every morning at 5:00.

‘You’re watching the success of The Chase, The Wall, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? To come back, there is definitely a need for that kind of connection. And the bank balance offers it. ‘

Hoping the show would be a ‘great hit’, Gordon added: ‘We were there 12 hours a day, five days a week. [in lockdown]. I would never think it was my own house. There are going to be a lot of eyeballs on this thing. ‘

Participants win up to £ 100,000 by answering the format against the clock to get the chance to balance beams across a pyramid that could collapse the risk.

“I wanted a kind of forehead that intimidates every divine guest who comes up the stairs,” he says over the golden bench vaulted set.
