Google tests the ability to buy directly from YouTube videos

It’s easy to imagine scenarios in which this feature would work in a branded way, such as cooker creators switching to kitchen utensils, gamers hawking components from their computer, and of course channels boxing out, the products they display excel. Creators have been able to sell goods through a mall on their channel for the past few years, and this latest experiment seems to them (and YouTube) to be a different way to earn revenue.

Reports have been circulating for some time that YouTube has investigated a feature in this way. A number of platforms include more shopping features, including Instagram and WhatsApp, so it’s not surprising that Google does the same on YouTube. After all, Google Shopping ads had already appeared among YouTube videos in 2015.
