Google Search Share Card gets a modernized look on the desktop

Google offers a dedicated finance portal that shows you news, in addition to charts and other trend data. That said, most users make enough to enter ticker symbols into Search to determine the price of shares, with Google recently revamping its desktop experience.

Just like the weather last month, the inventory map in Google Search has been slightly adjusted. The same organization and placement principles apply with the current price in the upper left corner, while the stock symbol (and where it is listed) is on the right. This new design language for search is defined by immediately indicating what people are looking for.

Below that, in green or red, is the recent movement and when it closed, as well as the current price after hours.

The graph has been adjusted so that the tabs for components with different time changes use components of the Material Theme. Finally, the information that appears below is unchanged, but is now arranged in three columns to make it easier to read.

This redesign of the stock card for Google Search Computers is now being rolled out widely.
