Google is testing Play Store settings redesign

According to AndroidPolice, Google is conducting an A / B test in the Play Store. There is already some work going on moving the contents of the hamburger menu to the account switch. But based on screenshots provided by AndroidPolice, Google is also working on the app’s settings page to make it easier to use. The new settings page is divided into four sub-menus: General, User Controls, Family and About.
All four can be expanded by tapping the down arrow near each category. Of the four sections, the family is just a new link for parenting guide and the Parental Controls feature that now appears in User Control. The family section of the hamburger menu will also be found there. So yes, most family related entries are moved to the new Family section.

The bottom line is a cleaner settings page that makes things, as mentioned above, easier to use. However, if you are counting the number of taps you need to reach where you want to go, you may need to count another one. But once you get to the category you need, the exact list will find faster; the combination can still save you time.
If you hope to see this test on your Android phone, you may win the lottery better. We do not know just how wide Google tests it, but it’s an update to the server which means you can not activate it; it’s all according to Google’s whim. And of course, if the testing does not live up to Google’s hopes, the entire update may be deleted and never live up to the light of day.
