Google apparently reveals Pixel Buds A in marketing email

As we approach Google I / O 2021, the rumor mill has started pointing to new hardware, including a Pixel 5A and Pixel Buds A, a cheaper set of true wireless earbuds that would fall under the company’s top pair. It looks like Google has come out on top, according to 9to5Google, a new email contains an image of olive green Pixel Buds that are not part of the current series. The inside of the case is also color-linked to the eyes, which is not the case with the second generation Pixel Buds. Another idea that it is new is that the inside of the earplugs are also the same green.

If we consider this, we’re probably seeing the upcoming Pixel Buds A in this picture. They look virtually identical to the regular Pixel Buds, although the second LED in the boot is gone or just not visible in this recording. There’s always a chance someone came down here with the color tint, so it’s better match the Pixel 5, but that would be a little unusual.

A recent filing with the Federal Communications Commission is likely for these earplugs. We’ll have to wait for the final announcement from Google to see what features have been cut if the company actually intends to sell them at a significantly lower price than the standard Pixel Buds. With those priced at $ 179, Google might be aiming for a $ 99 or $ 129 price point.

Google’s second-generation Pixel Buds had some issues with connection stability when they were first shipped, which the company is trying to address in the course of several firmware updates. But some customers come up with issues like dropouts and other bugs, so hopefully Google will say a thing or two about the strength of the connection when it comes to announcing these Pixel Buds A.
