This year, and trying not to get upset about this, gift suites are being forced out of expensive hotel suites and rather out of expensive hotels up the street.
The strange, here is a little soap and a luxury holiday cruise, ritual in which rich stars get goods they could otherwise afford, was made even stranger this year. Buuuuut to make the practice a little less rude this year, ten first responders also got a bit swag. This year is an active $ 149 bluetooth mask (?), As well as a trip to Bali.

It is often downgraded as the smallest half of the night, and it is easy to forget that the Globes are also a celebration of the small screen, something that has become a standard joke at this stage (Fey and Poehler will put it on a stage surely refers).
But this year, more than ever, we’ve watched quite a few times more shows than our movies have had, and maybe that’s going to change? Here’s Adrian Horton bravely guessing who and what might come out on top:

Greetings from the fashion team! Hannah Marriott and Priya Elan here are blowing the dust off our critical faculties because it’s been a while since we’ve had a red carpet to judge. Let’s start with presenter Margot Robbie, in a tierlantyntjie and belt Chanel – watch 3 of the spring / summer 21 catwalk, I believe. She looks amazing. Personally, I’m just glad I have an outfit to look at that is not my own sweatpants.

Over the past few years, divisions have been discussed over whether an award provider is even more needed. Recent examples – Ricky Gervais, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel – have not exactly inspired us to want more than a robot announcing winners, but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler stand far from the rest.
The pair have presented three times already, and have managed to be sharp without being mean, deftly letting both the industry and the Globes themselves go awry, and as this morning as it may be this morning, they should give us the effort worth giving moments.
Here is a reminder of their best:

The last week or so the town spoke was the consequences of the LA Times’ damaging investigation into the composition and practices of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The group of 87 international journalists has long been ridiculed by the industry for being a small and dubious but strangely influential cabal, plagued by rumors of bribery and accused of opting for the allure of stellar power over the recognition of true talent. At this point, everyone who turns on the Globe and expects a fair and balanced review over the past year is high on something, but these recent revelations have uncovered more alleged corruption and issues than any of us were aware of.
Here are some of the key findings:
- Of the 87 members, not one is black
- The HFPA is another non-profit organization, but in the past financial year, members allegedly paid nearly $ 2 million to the groups, which could lead to problems with the IRS.
- More than 30 members were flown to Paris to promote the show Emily in Paris and were treated to a luxurious stay (the show eventually received two nominations)
- Many of the members write for obscure stores and publicists are apparently forced to work with them for fear of being punished by the HFPA in general.
- Members include a rich party and an actor who has become a bodybuilder
- Members are also disciplined to sell free discounts sent by publicists, as well as tickets for the ceremony itself

Go for gold

Arriving almost two months later than usual, this year’s Golden Globes ceremony will kick off a strange awards season with controversy, confusion and a refreshing amount of unpredictability.
It tends to be the looser, drunker, sillier award show of the year, with hosts and presenters taking it as seriously as we should. Tonight will be even stranger than usual: the hosts, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey (praise), and presenters will be in person on the east and west coasts, while all nominees will be at home. It kind of worked last year for the Emmies, even with a less secure beginner, and almost a year into the pandemic, things technically need to be handled smoothly tonight, all much more confident with the intricacies of virtual life.
Predicted winners include Carey Mulligan, the late Chadwick Boseman and at least one person from The Crown, but success will come with a shadow. Many of us have known for years that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a strange group of 87 journalists who are highly nominated, was a bit of a joker and handed out awards to deserving winners, who were more impressed with fame than talent, but ‘ a recent Los Angeles Times expose showed us an even darker side (more on that later).
It will be interesting to see how Fey and Poehler can handle it tonight, if only, but the increased investigation will definitely give the evening a head start. Stay tuned to us for what passes as a red carpet in 2021, all the many winners, the easily cut-off speeches at home and any further controversy that arises. It will be unique.
