The GOG.com winter sale is in the final stages, and the company is celebrating with the presentation Metro: Last light redux free. The online video game store front is currently struggling with the demand of players who want to get their free copy of the game, but the deal is being offered until Friday at 9am EST.
Offering free games to commemorate sales is nothing new, but CD Project, the owner of GOG.com, as well Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt Red, developer and publisher, is already being investigated for the current state of Cyberpunk 2077 as well as reversing his decision to carry the controversial game Dedication in GOG’s store.
The tweet announcing the free game has already been flooded with complaints, jokes or questions about one of the two Dedication or Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt may be struggling with its reputation among its most vocal players, but Metro: Last light redux remain a tense, effective surviving first-person shooter, and it’s worth your time.
