Godzilla vs Kong Trailer reveals Gojira is a villain

The trailer of Godzilla vs. Kong finally arrived after months of anticipation and before the film’s release in theaters and on HBO Max in March.

The Godzilla teen Kong trailer finally arrived. The upcoming film features the battle for two of the cinema’s most iconic monsters. The trailer is an exciting look at the first feature film to appear on screen in some time. With the strategy of Warner Bros. to release all of their 2021 films simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max, this may be one of the only blockbusters to be released in the coming months as more and more films leave their dates back. Happy, Godzilla vs Kong seems the perfect trailer to fill the gap. The trailer is a preview of the massive scale of the global film, with the return of familiar faces that fans will recognize from previous films. Brown’s character is positioned to root for Godzilla, or at least figure out why he’s so determined to beat Kong, while Kong has some cheerleaders in franchise newcomers Hall, Skarsgård and an unnamed kid.

The trailer itself features only three battleships: the one aboard the military aircraft carriers, one that apparently takes place in the past with Kong, and which looks like the final battle between the titular characters in a neon-lit cityscape. Kong seems to be the main focal point. Godzilla and its origins have been explored in two previous films Kong: Skull Island is the only film in current Monsterverse that explored Kong’s background story. Godzilla vs Kong it seems to complement the back story while actually delivering giant battles. The long-awaited confrontation between the two titans is finally here and if the trailer is an indication, the wait is worth it.
